Hi,

My name is Samantha Zuidam. My interest in culture and societies have led me on wanderings across the globe. I like to connect, understand and then write about it in order to create a package of human connection.

I’ve travelled in New Zealand, South and Southeast Asia, studied in Canada, did research in Central America and lived in rural Australia. Amongst these experiences also emerged two university degrees from VU University Amsterdam. A MSc in Culture, Organization and Management and a BSc in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology.

My experiences in different cultures and societies, including my own in the Netherlands, are an ongoing inspiration for my writing. My work is best described as a combination between anthropology, philosophy and journalism.
